City:
Buffalo
Date:
Tuesday, March 20, 2012 - 6:30pm

Western New York Fresh Air Fund volunteers will host an information session and host appreciation night on Fresh Air Fund Day, Tuesday, March 20th for local host families to answer questions from prospective host and to share stories and experiences of past summers. There will also be a silent auction with autographed items with the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres, as well as a 50/50 raffle.

Come learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of a New York City child this summer! Light refreshments will be provided. The event will take place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, 53 West Falls Road, West Falls, NY 14170.

Each summer, nearly 4,000 inner-city children visit suburbs, small towns, and rural communities from Virginia to Maine and Canada through The Fresh Air Fund’s Volunteer Host Family program. Since 1877, The Fresh Air Fund, a non-profit, has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million New York City children.
